🧱 Official Game Rules – Tribal Order
🧰 Items Needed
-
A coin (for flips and random effects)
-
Paper and pen (to keep track of health points, healing, added armor)
🔧 Setup
-
Each player starts with a 30-card deck. If you don’t have 30 cards yet, or are in a hurry, you can play with a 20 card deck.
-
Decks must have no more than 10 Rare cards and 1 Legendary card. You may include up to 1 copy of each Common card, but no duplicate Rare or Legendary cards are allowed.
-
No legendary cards can be played first turn.
-
Shuffle your deck thoroughly and place it face-down.
-
Each player draws 5 cards from the top of their deck as their starting hand.
-
Flip a coin to decide who goes second — the player who goes second attacks first.
🎮 Gameplay
Players alternate turns. On your turn, you may:
-
Draw one card from your deck.
-
Play one card from your hand onto the play area
(Maximum of 3 cards in play at once per player) -
Attack once using one of your cards in play
(unless a card effect allows otherwise).
🗡️ Attacking
-
Choose one of your cards to attack one of your opponent’s cards.
-
If an attack has a 50/50 chance or involves randomness, flip a coin.
-
When a card’s health reaches zero, place it in the discard pile.
⚠️ Card Effects
-
Make sure to read each card’s attacks carefully.
Some effects may be instant, passive, or triggered in special ways. -
Track health, healing, and armor bonuses using your paper and pen.
🏆 Winning the Game
-
The game continues with players drawing, playing, and attacking each turn.
-
When all of a player's cards are in the discard pile, they lose.
-
If a player can no longer attack or play a card with an attack, they automatically lose the game.
🪙 Coin Flips
Use coin flips to resolve:
-
Attacks with a 50/50 chance of success
-
Random effects or random target selection
